MaquillAR, led by founder and creative director Sofi Chernyak, sought to expand their existing virtual try-on experience by adding intelligence and interactivity. The goal was to move beyond static filters and integrate a backend AI system that supports both real-time VTO and a conversational assistant capable of recommending products.
Extension for Auto Retail
The client engaged Axis to create a browser extension tailored for retail employees working with auto parts catalogs. The tool automatically retrieves and displays product information — including the part name and relevant notes/descriptions — directly on the web page being viewed.
Stream Live Responder
The client engaged Axis to create an intelligent assistant for Live streams that enables automated, spoken interactions between streamers and their audiences.
Backgammon Game Validation
The client engaged Axis to develop a system that validates game histories of backgammon matches, captured via computer vision, and converts them into the XG (eXtreme Gammon) format.
